Great video from the March for Life
The following is a great video from the March for Life put together from The Bad Catholic Blog. Enjoy!
Let's do this
After having neglected this blog for about 15 months, one must ask, "why do I keep coming back, promising to write more, when in reality I am much too busy to actually do this blog?" I think the answer to this question is important: because I am not a quitter, and I refuse to go down without a fight.
Having said that, since the last time I had a post, my wife and I had to endure burying our first child who died in childbirth, only to be blessed six months later with the conception of our second child. Her name is Grace, and she is currently cooing away in her swing a few feet away. She will be nine weeks old on Monday! Also in that time period I finished a Master's Degree, started a new job (teaching full time), and moving to another state. Phew! I guess I can use the excuse that I have been busy.
Now that I have got that out in the open, this blog will be focusing on the things it has always focused on: the prevalence of the culture of death and how it is destroying our society from within, and how the culture of life is truly the culture of love.
Blogs like this (but not really mine) are important, especially now that Big media is in the pocket of Planned Parenthood and other culture of death establishments.
I will make it a resolution to write often on this blog.

New Perspectives
Dear friends,
Praised be Jesus Christ!
This is my bi-annual post, as the last time I posted was in April. I will try to post more in the future, but this post will be short.
It will be sufficient to say that the last few weeks have allowed me to see things in a new light and a new perspective. For anybody who knows me and what my wife and I have gone through, you know this thing which has allowed me to be given a different perspective. The things that you thought were important are really not that important in the grand scheme of things. What I have learned is that I was so focused on things that can be considered ad extra that I have forgotten to focus on the ad intra. I have lost focus, and that focus has been regained.

Happy Earth Day
Dear friends,
Catholic Vote Action has put on a very good marketing campaign which focuses on Earth Day, by celebrating Earth greatest gift: children and the unborn.
I am impressed by this campaign, and the recent campaigns used to promote life and the culture of life. This one is particularly good because we are celebrating Earth Day, but a proper perspective on Earth Day.
On another note, it has been a while (3 months) since I last posted on this blog. My life is incredibly busy, not only with work, my wife and our 20 week old child in utero, among other things. I don't know how often I will be able to post on here, but I will do what I can.

Inspiring Post, for a different reason

Now, according to this article, there are 68 million Catholics in the United States. Obviously, there are few fewer numbers who consider themselves practicing, and those who uphold the teachings of the Church. This is inspiring because there is still lots of work to be done. Please, do not just pray for fallen away Catholics; go out and find them. Do you have a neighbor who has fallen away? Why don't you invite them to Church this Sunday? Just an idea. Be creative. Again, I am inspired. God bless, and pray always.

Favorite Superbowl Ad
Ok, so it has been a while. Since starting classes, my life has been very busy. Not sure if it will get any better in the coming months. But in the meantime, enjoy my favorite superbowl commercial (and no, believe it or not, it wasn't the Focus on the Family ad)
